50031
Hood and 50049
Defiance at different stages during The Redmire Rambler tour run by
Pathfinder Tours. The locomotives worked from Cardiff to Redmire and the return, a total of over 592 miles for the one-day trip.
The first destination was York, where upon arrival 50049 was run around and re-coupled for the top-'n'-tail working that was required on the later stages. The tour then proceeded to its final destination. Redmire itself is situated at the end of a 22-mile branch line which wends its way through the Yorkshire Dales and is run locally by the
Wensleydale Railway.
