Defiance at different stages during the Historic Worcester tour run by
Belmond Pullman.
The tour carried people wishing to visit the historic town or Worcester whilst experiencing the fine dining offered by the Belmond Pullman train. It was also a celebration of 30 years preservation of Class 50s by
The Fifty Fund.
The tour started at London Victoria and went to Worcester Shrub Hill via Oxford. On the return leg the two Class 50s took the longer route back to London via Cheltenham Spa and Stroud, a total of 272 miles for the one-day trip.
Before the start of the tour, there was a brief unveiling ceremony involving 50007 revealing one side of the locomotive having been renumbered and renamed 50034
Furious a long-time scrapped member of the class.
